The Noble Order of Muscovites
Bratsvo Duchy
The Springfield Odd Fellows have chartered a Duchy of the Noble Order of Muscovites, a fun fraternal side order. This Duchy was instituted on May 5th, 2026 without the need for regular business meetings. We come together once a year to run a charity tournament where we can enjoy a fun fraternal atmosphere and wear some funny hats. It's important to not make ourselves to seriously and have fun.
The Busby
The official regalia of the order is a fez, which we refer as a Busby.
The Muscovite Tournament
The Muscovite tournament is an annual event where we gather to play games such as pool, darts, horseshoes, etc.., enjoy each others company, lose a little money for a good cause, and of course wear our funny hats.
The tournament is designed so the winner will double their investment, second place breaks even, and the rest of the pot is donated to the reigning Duke's charity of choice.
The Duke is also chosen at the tournament. Our victorious champion is crowned Duke for the year following the tournament and simultaneously condemned to the tragic fate of planning the next tournament.
Becoming a Muscovite Noble
For those souls brave enough to take on the challenge of becoming a Noble of the Muscovites you must either attend the live degree held in Portland or one of the virtual degrees that are held periodically throughout the year. We are working on being able to put on our own degree in the future, stay tuned.
